After a long time out of competition due to a muscle tear, I could finally make my comeback in the criterium in Hengelo, Ronde van de Vijver.
I was very happy just to be back racing, but as you could expect after a period of being injured my legs were not strong enough to do anything more than following the peloton. In the end I finished quit far to the back, in 54th position. It wasn't very good, but it was good just to be back racing. I hope to improve steadily over the next couple of weeks to get back to a decent level to compete in the criteriums again. My next race will be Ronde van Waddinxveen on Monday.
